Paul di Resta confirmed that he had parted ways with his manager Anthony Hamilton but evaded from giving out reasons for the split.
Anthony, who is the father of Lewis Hamilton, managed the Force India driver for the past two years and was instrumental in paving the 26-year-old’s way to Formula 1 after he secured the DTM title in 2010.
"I think everything’s been said that has to be said. I confirm that we’re not working together. I think it’s been reported that we’re no longer working together, so that is the matter at the moment," di Resta said.
The Scot also refused to divulge any details on whether he was planning to get a new manager at a time when drivers usually negotiate their future in F1 with several teams.
"At the moment I’m just fully focused on my racing. At the end of the day, it’s the results that count for me and what’s going to drive me forward." he said.
