Robert Kubica got behind the wheel of a rally car in July for a day in which he drove a Ford Fiesta RS at the Circuit des Ecuyers in France.
The Pole took part in the testing session for the Ford World Rally Championship factory team with its drivers Jari-Matti Latvala and Petter Solberg in an outing confirmed by Autosport.
Ford however refused to comment about Kubica’s participation at the private development test, referring to him only as an experienced driver who “put in some very good work”.
The 27-year-old former Renault F1 driver crashed during a rally in February last year which severely injured him placing a brake on his motorsport career.
