Former Formula 1 driver Robert Kubica will be competing in two minor league rallies in Italy and France for Citroen later this month.
The Pole is scheduled to take part in Rally di Como and the Rallye du Var for the French manufacturer as the 27-year-old seeks to revive his career in motorsport following his horrific crash in a rally in February last year.
Kubica, who won two domestic rallies in Italy in September with Subaru, believed that events were an opportunity to “get to a feel for the car and learn more about driving it in racing conditions.”
“Rallying is one of my favourite forms of motorsport,” Kubica said. “First and foremost I want to rack up as many miles as possible and improve in the category!”
