Sebastian Vettel may not receive a helping hand from teammate Mark Webber as the German prepares to battle for the championship at the season-finale Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday.

Although Vettel has an advantage of 13 points over chief title rival Fernando Alonso along with a superior car, he doesn’t however have the services of a partner that could assist the defending champion in his bid.

“Well, I think we focus on ourselves, do the cleanest race I can,” Webber said giving no indications whether he would ensure that Vettel would be a priority in the final outing on Sunday.

“We know there may be some tricky weather,” the Australian added. “It's a long Grand Prix and I'll be focused 100 percent on my efforts in my cockpit and get to the finish line as quick as possible.”

Webber qualified third, right ahead of Vettel with the two sharing the second row of the grid at Interlagos while Alonso starts further down in seventh.
