Team Germany continued its domination in the Race of Champions after the pairing of Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel lifted the trophy for the Nations Cup for the sixth successive year on Saturday.
In the final, Team Germany defeated Team France’s Romain Grosjean and rally driver Sebastien Ogier in their dominant run which saw the German duo clinching all their ten races on the night.
“Even Michael hasn’t managed six titles in a row before so this is something special," Vettel said.
Held in Bangkok, Thailand this year, the Race of Champions pits competitors from various forms of motorsport in the same machinery over the course of the weekend.
On Friday, Team India - represented by Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok - made its first appearance and registered a win in the first-ever ROC Asia competition but were eliminated in the first round in the Nations Cup by Team Germany.
