Even if Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone wishes to join Twitter, the 82-year-old cannot, fearing the implications of the 140 characters he may type.
“His lawyers veto every time - petrified at the consequences. Pity!” tweeted former Olympic chief Michael Payne earlier this month.
Payne is a part of the F1 management team and is Ecclestone’s special advisor.
Ecclestone currently has a $650 million lawsuit filed against him at New York State Supreme Court by an investment firm which claimed that it was unfairly bunted out during the sale of the sport in 2005.
