Mark Webber brushed off a report which stated that he shared “a great camaraderie” with teammate Sebastian Vettel, suggesting that the feud between the two drivers hasn’t calmed down.

A report by the Indo-Asian News Agency quoted the Australian driver indicating that the ongoing rivalry in the Red Bull camp had now settled down a bit, after the team orders fiasco at the Malaysian Grand Prix in March.

“Look, Sebastian is an experienced driver. Besides, we have a common goal as teammates to make our team proud,” Webber told IANS. “We continue to respect each other and will continue to remain focused in wanting to make the team proud.”

However, a day later, the 36-year-old rubbished the story on his Twitter page, pointing out that the comments used were out of date.

“Some rubbish quotes floating around I hear, good old spin job by someone,” Webber tweeted indicating that there was no camaraderie between the Red Bull drivers.
