Lewis Hamilton is hoping for a stardom of a different kind, far from his life as a Formula 1 driver.

The Mercedes driver hopes that he gets to star in a Hollywood movie someday after he was inspired by the latest ‘Fast & Furious’ movie, the sixth edition of the film, which the Briton watched earlier this month.

“I’d love to be in a movie. I was watching the new Fast & Furious the other day and it’s the best film I’ve seen. Incredible,” Hamilton was quoted saying by the Mirror. “These guys are fast and they think they are ‘the nuts’ but I need to be in there. I want to be in there. I want to be one of those guys.

“I’m going to try and get a role in Fast & Furious. That’d be so cool,” he pointed out.

Hamilton is no stranger to life in Hollywood, as he spends several days in the United States with his pop star girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

The 28-year-old had expressed his wish earlier that he would love to have Jamie Foxx play him in a movie, if ever there is a film planned based on the F1 driver’s life.

Hamilton has already been credited for a voiceover in Disney’s 2011 animated movie ‘Cars 2’.
