The 1950 season was dominated by the Alfa Romeo’s driven by Farina and Fangio, who managed to win three races each. However, the Italian took the title owing to his fourth place finish in Belgium. The difference between Farina and Fangio was just 3 points with the Italian scoring 30 points.
